On November 16th the 6th Annual “Spice Up Your Life” Variety Show, produced by Amanda Watmough, was presented to over 300 people at Horizon Stage. An impressive variety of singers, dancers and musicians delighted and entertained a very appreciative and enthusiastic audience. The Ex-Con Sextet paid tribute to Bobby Curtola (recently inducted posthumously into the Canadian Music Hall of Fame) with their rendition of his hit song “Fortune Teller”. Each year the show honours the memory of Ken Selman and Don McClocklin, and this year raised $6,358.50 which will be included in the 2019 Light Up Your Life Campaign in support of palliative/hospice and continuing care in the Tri-Community area.
