Palliative Care Training for the Community

Learn how to become a valuable member of the palliative care team in Stony Plain and surrounding area with the AHPCA Roadshow!

This no cost, two-day, in-person training follows the Canadian Hospice Palliative Care Association Training Program which is recognized across Canada. It will give volunteers, caregivers and interested community members the confidence to provide quality support services in any setting, whether that is in hospice, long-term care or a private home.

Dates: Friday, Oct 13 to Saturday, Oct 14, 2023

Time: 8:00 am – 4:45 pm (Oct 13) and 8:30 am – 4:45 pm (Oct 14)

Location: Stony Plain Pioneer Museum, 5120 41 Avenue, Stony Plain, AB

Community Host: Light Up Your Life Society

Certificate of Attendance will be available to participants who attend both days.
