The Light Up Your Life Tri-Community Palliative/Hospice Care Society was established in Stony Plain, Alberta in 1992 and became a registered charitable organization in 2004. Our dedicated and compassionate volunteers work tirelessly to support palliative, hospice and continuing care in the Tri-Community area of Alberta (Stony Plain, Spruce Grove, Parkland County). Here is what you can do to help the Light Up Your Life Tri-Community Palliative/Hospice Care Society:
- Participate in the various events of the Light Up Your Life Society (please see our Fundraising Campaign and Events and Blog Pages).
- Donate throughout the year, through the donation boxes at the time of the Annual Campaign, sending Memorial Donations, or Gifted Donations in recognition of a birthday or anniversary. These may be sent to:

We are now also able to accept donations via E-Transfer at lightupyourlifesociety@gmail.com.
A tax deductible receipt for a minimum $20 donation will be issued to you (note that we require your mailing address for this), and, if you wish, an acknowledgement will be sent to the recipient of a Gifted Donation. A list of the names of all Memorial Donors will be sent to the family.

Why should I donate?
Many people are reluctant to talk about death and dying, even though this end stage of life is something all of us must face. The cost of special equipment and services needed to make this transition as comfortable as possible is often too much for individuals or families to manage on their own, adding to an already stressful situation. We need your caring generosity to enable us to help all those in the Tri-Community area, maybe your own family members, friends or neighbours, who need this special assistance. Please consider donating today.
The Light Up Your Life Society is very proud of the fact that on average 97% of funds raised are used to help those in need in palliative/hospice and/or continuing care in the Tri-Community area of Parkland County, Stony Plain and Spruce Grove.
